The trek is about 2 km long and takes you through a rocky terrain and dense forest. The boat ride is more convenient and costs around 500 INR per person. You can also rent a catamaran or a kayak and paddle your way to the beach.

What to do at Paradise Beach

It is ideal for relaxing, swimming, sunbathing, and camping. The beach has a length of 150 meters and is mostly covered with rocks and white sand. The water is clear and calm, making it suitable for swimming. You can also enjoy the stunning views of the Arabian Sea and the surrounding hills. The history of Paradise Beach

The beach was once a popular spot for hippies who came to Gokarna in search of spirituality and freedom. They built shacks and huts on the beach and lived a simple life. They also indulged in weed trading, which attracted the attention of the authorities. In 2019, the government demolished the shacks and banned weed trading on the beach. You can still see the ruins of the broken shacks on the beach.
