You can also rent a catamaran or a kayak and paddle your way to the beach.

You can rent a tent or a hammock for around 300 INR per night. The shacks offer basic amenities like mattresses, blankets, pillows, and toilets. They also serve delicious seafood and vegetarian dishes at reasonable prices.

The history of Paradise Beach

The beach was once a popular spot for hippies who came to Gokarna in search of spirituality and freedom. They built shacks and huts on the beach and lived a simple life. They also indulged in weed trading, which attracted the attention of the authorities. In 2019, the government demolished the shacks and banned weed trading on the beach. You can still see the ruins of the broken shacks on the beach.
