The Beginner’s Guide to Urban Clans

Yolo has Urban Clans in which there are several activities for campers. Urban Clans is a must experience if you come to Yolo as you will leave some good memories here. So if you are planning to come to Yolo, here are some must experience at Urban clans

-> Handprints as a memory

This is the first activity of Yolo camping, Urban Clans. In this campers have to choose the colour from a number of paint boxes and when they select one we paint their hands with the selected colour and tell them to choose a space on the front wall to give their handprints. If you are friends, you should give handprints together. Leaving your handprints is equal to leaving memories at Yolo. The colourful wall is something you will never forget about Yolo camping as you’ve left a part of yourself. 

-> Picking out chits

Chits of names are put in a bowl and teams are made. There are 2 teams in which we have minimum of 2 players each team or 5 players maximum in one.

Score @ Urban Clans

The team is instructed the rules of urban clan events. We have points for everything like painting the wall, painting pebbles and writing postcards. A winning team has to score a minimum 200 points to win the prize. All scores are counted and written on the white board. 

-> Games

In Yolo camping after leaving handprints and making the teams we start the games. We have many games like –

A. Traditional bowling – Bottles are used for the bowling and we have to smash or make it fall with the light ball. 

B. Kilta ball – Another version of basketball where kiltas are used as the basket.

C. Tin smacker – You have to smash the cans with the frisbee.

D. Nut stacker – This is an indoor game in which we have to stack nut on nut in a given time.

-> Rules

Every game has different rules which have to be followed. The rules are simple and basic to understand. If someone breaks the rules, it is simply counted as foul play.
