What to Expect

An end-to-end road trip which starts in the capital New Delhi and goes all the way to the Holy town of Rishikesh and goes all the way to the banks of the river Ganga. This is a backpacking trip which is high on experience in a short time frame. This is the perfect Rishikesh trip for anyone who has a short time frame.

This trip includes a homestay and 1-night camping clubbed with rafting and an evening by the Ganges for the Ganga aarti. The entire road trip will be in an AC Vehicle which includes toll fees.

This is the perfect road trip for anyone who wants to explore Rishikesh in 72 hours.

Day 1Delhi ----> Rishikesh

– Arrive in Delhi by latest 12:00 HRS
– Reach ISBT Kashmere Gate Delhi by 13:00 Hrs
– Board a bus at 14:00 Hrs from Delhi to Rishikesh. (250 km = 5.5 hours)
– Reach Rishikesh by 18:00 HRS and check into your stay
– Rest of the evening at leisure

Day 2Rishikesh River Rafting + Sightseeing

– Leave for rafting in the morning. (12-16km rafting)
– Have breakfast; Freshen up and leave for sighteseeing
– Around 12 :00 Hrs hop onto the vehicle and visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula and the Beatles Ahsram.
– In the evening around 18:00 Hrs visit Triveni Ghat for Ganga Aarti
– Rest of the evening at leisure
– Last evening in Rishikesh, make the most of it.

Day 3Rishikesh ----> Delhi

– Post breakfast pack up and be ready.
– By 11:00 am Leave for the bus stop at Rishikesh
– Reach back by 16:00 Hrs (250km = 5.5 hours)

Yes. Rishikesh is extremely safe to travel to. Tourists are not affected by any kind of conflict till date.

Yes. There are plenty of ATMs in Rishikesh.

Q. How much money to carry and in what denomination?
The amount of money totally depends on your choice. Please carry small and medium denominations like ₹50, ₹100, ₹200. Avoid carrying larger denomination notes.

Yes, at every place we stay at you’ll get a blanket, a pillow and if not a bed then surely a mattress to sleep on.

Q. Will the rooms be based on gender or mixed?
It will be girls in a separate room and boys in a separate room, for all those backpacking solo.

Food-related questions

Q. Why is food not included?
Since this is a backpacking trip, we want to leave the eating for you’ll to explore on your own. You’ll never go hungry in the North East.

Q. What kind of food should we expect to get?
In Rishikesh, expect a lot of vegetarian food. You get everything from pizzas to pastas.

Q. What will be our mode of transportation?
As per the blueprint, it will be a scooter/electric rickshaw

Delhi- Rishikesh-Delhi it will be a semi sleeper volvo bus.

What is cancellation policy?

TLOW, based on the Cancellation Date, shall withhold the following amounts stated in the table below, from the Booking Amount or Trip Price as cancellation charges and refund the remainder to you. The refund shall be paid to you, within (21) calendar days from the Cancellation Date.

Cancellation Date is: Cancellation charges
– Before forty (40) calendar days prior to the date of commencement of Trip, 15% of the Trip Price
– On or after forty (40) calendar days but prior to thirty (30) calendar days day of commencement of Trip,
30% of the Trip Price
– On or after thirty (30) calendar days but prior twenty five (25) calendar days from day of commencement of Trip
50% of the Trip Price
– On or after twenty five (25) calendar days but prior to twenty (20) calendar days from day of commencement of Trip
75% of the Trip Price
– On or after twenty (20) calendar days but prior fifteen (15) calendar days from day of commencement of Trip
100% of the Trip Price

You may claim refund only in case of a confirmed booking where you have paid the entire Booking Amount. Where there is part payment of Booking Amount made the same shall be forfeited and there shall be no refund. The mode of payment of refund amount to you (whether through cash, e-wallets, bank transfers, or cheques), shall be determined at the sole discretion of TLOW.
Notwithstanding anything stated in the Terms & Conditions, there are no refunds of any kind, provided for ‘Camping Trips’.
