TLOW diary | Week 12 – Ladakh
The place where beautiful mountains never cease to exist. It left me awestruck, the first time I laid my eyes on those mesmerising snow-capped hills. It made sense to me to choose ‘The land of wanderlust’ to embark my journey to Ladakh because it wasn’t just a tick-off the bucket list thing for me, it was to make a wonderful memory which I could look back & smile.

With #tlow it was possible because of their unconventional way of organizing the trip. We travelled to the beautiful village of Padum. It takes around 14 hrs to reach there, but trust me, its worth a visit, as it got a rustic charm about itself plus the wonderful homestay with humble Ladakhi hosts, will make you feel at home.
I was also charmed by the village ‘Turtuk’ (known for commonly grown apricots there). It wasn’t just about the yummy apricots we get there, the place and the people are beautiful.
Apart from these two places which have been my favorite throughout the trip, there was this breath taking pretty #Tso-Moriri, blue water lake, quiet and serene. Though the roads are bit bumpy, but you eventually got to love them too on a Leh-Ladakh road trip.
Thank you TLOW and of course, Sherwin Rebello for this trip. This ones gonna be my favourite forever.
Xoxo,
Munira
