Himachal’s Manali Mall Road: The Ambience

I have been to Mall Road many times, and every time I have a blast. Here are some of my favourite stories from my trips:

– Once I met a group of monks from a nearby monastery, who were chanting and playing musical instruments on the street. They invited me to join them, and I learned some of their prayers and songs. They were very friendly and humble, and they taught me a lot about Buddhism and meditation.

– Another time I went to a cafe called Cafe 1947, which is famous for its live music and cozy atmosphere. I met a local singer-songwriter there, who was performing his original songs. He had a beautiful voice and a captivating style. He sang about his love for Manali, his dreams and aspirations, and his personal struggles. I was so moved by his music that I bought his CD and asked him to autograph it.

– The most hilarious experience I had on Mall Road was when I decided to try rafting. I was excited at first, but as soon as we reached the river, I realized that it was freezing cold. I tried to back out, but the instructor pushed me into the raft. He said that it was too late to change my mind. He also said that it was very safe and fun. He lied. The raft was shaky and unstable, and the rapids were scary and wild. I screamed my lungs out throughout the ride. I was soaked and shivering by the end of it.
