History

1. At a height of around 1,760 metres (5,774 feet) above sea level, Naggar village may be found. The town is blessed with natural beauty, nestled amidst beautiful mountains and lush green valleys. The village offers breathtaking views of the snow-covered Himalayas, including the famous peaks of Deo Tibba and Chandrakhani.

2. Raja Visudhpal is said to have built the town in the fifteenth century. Naggar holds great historical significance as it was the capital of the Kullu Kingdom for over 1,400 years. The village served as the seat of power for the rulers of Kullu before they shifted the capital to Kullu town.
