Plenty of area to walk around and the Beas river bank is easily accessible once you cross the bridge. The further you go away from the river the better the view and the more isolated for photos. But you can easily walk a good 7-8 km all the way to the hot spring. 

Chill by the banks 

Find a good spot to just sit by the river banks and spend time watching the clouds or soul searching. But remember to sit at a spot where you can easily reach a safe zone, incase the water level starts to rise.  

Play with dogs 

You’ll find plenty of dogs and puppies all year since there is so much open area on this side of Manali compared to the other areas which are cramped up. Here you can actually chill with the dogs and go on a walk with them. So if you’re an animal lover who’s planning a solo trip to Manali, ditch Old Manali and come to Bhanu bridge. 

Meditate by the river side 

Find your zone where you can make be just sit and meditate or do some yoga, if you are the kind who likes to keep their soul and mind in check. The forest area adjoining the river ahead of Shivali Retreat and resort is the perfect place for you to head to in the morning.

Yes, there is a forest zone which is never ending and will end up taking you on a photo shoot of a life time of your someone who’s looking to build content for your social media handles. The best part about the forest near Bhanu bridge is the fact that it’s still virgin and untouched. Hence the pictures will be rare on the internet.
