8 days backpackers blueprint: Dharamshala-Manali-Tosh-Kasol

Here is The Land of Wanderlust’s blueprint to a backpacking trip around the Hippie belt of Dharamshala– Mcleodganj–Manali–Tosh–Kasol.

Trip cost: Rs 13,000 + 5% GST= Rs 13,650/-

• Accommodation. (3 to 6 based on room size)

Exclusion:

•  Food.
• Travel to Delhi.

Terms & Conditions

Things to carry along:

• Valid Photo id proof with address – 5 copies. (No Pan card)
• Two passport size photographs.
• Essentials to pack.

Day One:

• Board a HRTC Volvo AC bus from ISBT Kashmiri Gate New Delhi to Mcleodganj at 19:00 HRS.

Day Two:

• Reach Mcleodganj by 08:00 HRS. Post breakfast check into our guest house.
• Freshen up and post-lunch walk to Bhagsunag waterfall.
• Return back to the town centre post-sunset.
• Rest of the evening at leisure.

Day Three:

• Post breakfast, visit the Dalai Lama temple and museum.
• Later visit St John’s Church in the Wilderness.
• Board an overnight HRTC Volvo at 23:30 HRS from Dharamshala.

Day Four:

• Reach Manali by 09:00 HRS. Post breakfast, check into our guest house in Old Manali.
• Spend the rest of the day exploring the hippie town or chilling in the cafes.

Day five:

• Post breakfast hop onto a local bus from Malani to Kasol. (77km = 3 hrs)
• Reach Kasol by 12:00 HRS and check into our guesthouse for the night.
• Walk to Chalal to chill by the Parvati River.
• Return from Chalal post sun set. 
• Rest of the evening at leisure.

Day Six:

• Post lunch take the local bus to Yolo camping. (7km = 20 minutes)
• Reach Yolo and spend the rest of the evening at leisure chilling by the river.

Day Seven:

• Last day in the Himalayas.
• Board a bus from Kasol to Kullu by 17:00 HRS. Reach Kullu by 19:00 HRS.
• Board a HRTC Volvo from Kullu to Delhi at 20:00 HRS.

Day Eight:

• Reach ISBT Kashmiri Gate New Delhi by 09:00 HRS.
