Santorini is what we decided to call the place previously known as Wanderlust. The place had the correct name for it but the wrong brains to it. The land of wanderlust had to step in and grab this opportunity which would be an even better addition to making Bhandardara a destination in Maharashtra. Though this place had a lot of work to be done in a limited time; our carpenters are top-notch in their work so much as that we don’t have to keep checking on their work all the time as Khade mama sits over them to finish it off quickly.
Everyone had a very good impression of the Wanderlust resort and how close to nature it was. The villas on one side and the lake on another side. I thought to myself that this place has so much potential. The location is so raw that we have we can do amazing activities. And after a week we started the first camp to see if people like it and surprisingly people loved it very much. The tubing was an addition to the camp which became a success to carry forward the experience into a proper activity.
A few weeks later we came back to test the raft and tubing experience. The tubes were from a tractor which was huge and way durable than the plastic/ silicon floats. We also built a raft that was equally good for people who don’t know how to swim but want to go in the water.
We saw snakes in the river water but we didn’t bother because we were quite excited to go in the river. The water was very cold and every splash sent shivers throughout the body. Finally, we decided to jump in and test the tube. After we went into the water it was such a relaxing experience. Floating in the transparent green water looking at the blue sky reminded me of that one time I had gone for a swim in the lake with my friends which was a bonus after a long exhausting trek.
This tubing activity is a complete package for people looking for a steal deal to keep their expenditure minimum. This is one of the many activities that can be done at Santorini. But for starters, it’s the best activity in combination with camping. Just waiting for the monsoons because this place will give a feeling that you are living in a jungle.
