An ideal trip for first time solo backpackers on a budget to explore the Himalayas. So this particular blueprint has been a part of our inventory since 2014. Indeed one of our nostalgic trips which is purely about the experience which includes living in humble home stays , meeting new people, interacting with locals, living with a bunch of strangers.
The general age group of backpackers on this particular trip is between 23-35 with 60% in the age bracket of 25-32. 90% enroll solo on this trip so if you don’t have company it’s cool, enroll solo & make new friends on the trip.
Our trips are like the first week in college but the only difference here is that we have no rules.
– Arrive in Delhi by 14:00 HRS.
– Reach RK Ashram Metro station by 17:00 HRS.
– Meet your fellow backpackers and get to know each other.
– Board Volvo semi sleeper bus from RK Ashram Metro Station (exit from metro gate no. 3) New Delhi at 18:00 HRS to Bhunter.
– Reach Bhunter by 8:00 am
– Hop onto a local taxi from bhuntur to Kasol. (68.2km = 1.5 hours)
– Reach Kasol 11:00 am
– Check into our home stay for the night.
– Explore Kasol & Grahan Nala on foot
– Evening at leisure.
– Enjoy cafe hopping on foot in Kasol.
– Around 10:00 am Hop onto the Vehicle and leave for Malana (39 km = 2.5 Hours)
– Trek to Malana Village
– Explore Malana village and Hike back down.
– Hop onto the Vehicle and leave for Tosh
– Spend the rest of the evening strolling through the village.
– Hop onto the Vehicle to the base of Kheerganga.
– Start the hike to Kheerganga by 10:00 HRS.
– First pit stop at the village of Nakthan. (5.6km = 2.5 hours)
– Second pit stop at Sunflower cafe. (3.5km = 1.5 hours)
– Reach Kheerganga top by 14:00 HRS.
– Check into our campsite for the night.
– Take a dip in the natural sulphur hot spring.
– Spend the night camping in Kheerganga. (No Network)
– Start in the morning by 9:00 HRS & hike back from Kheerganga to the road.
– Leave for Manali (95 km = 4 Hours)
– Reach Manali by 13:00 HRS.
– Spend the next few hours packing or writing post cards.
– Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the Beas river after a long journey.
– Post Breakfast hop onto the car from Yolo Manali to Sissu (40 km = 1hr.30 mins)
– Explore Sissu
– On the return explore Solang Valley.
– Return to Yolo Manali around sunset time.
– Rest of the evening at leisure.
– Post Breakfast leave for local sightseeing around New & Old Manali
– Explore New & old Manali on foot.
– Return to Yolo Manali by 15:00 Hrs.
– Board a Volvo semi sleeper bus from Yolo Manali at 17:45 HRS to New Delhi.
– Reach New Delhi (Near Bus Stop- BITLA SOFTWARE PRIVATE LIMITED) by 09:00 HRS.
