Come papered for a lot of walking. To be precise 50+ Km spread across seven days. The Himalayan weather will make all the Hiking & Walking a lot easier than you expect. This is the perfect trip to push your self out of your comfort zone & check how fit you really are, while at the same time it’s a budget holiday to the Mountains. It’s always good to give yourself a reality check & this trip does just that.
From meeting random like minded strangers from different parts of the country and world. The general age group of backpackers on this particular trip is between 20-35 with 60% in the age bracket of 25-32. 85% enroll solo on this trip so if you don’t have company it’s cool, enroll solo & make new friends on the trip.
Our trips are like the first week in college but the only difference here is that we have only one rule ie
– Arrive in Delhi by 14:00 HRS.
– Reach RK Ashram Metro station by 17:00 HRS.
– Meet your fellow backpackers and get to know each other.
– Board Volvo semi sleeper bus from RK Ashram Metro Station (exit from metro gate no. 3) New Delhi at 18:00 HRS to Bhuntur.
– Reach Bhunter by 8:00 am
– Hop onto a local taxi from bhuntur to Kasol. (68.2km = 1.5 hours)
– Reach Kasol 11:00 am
– Check into our home stay for the night.
– Explore Kasol & Grahan Nala on foot
– Evening at leisure.
– Enjoy cafe hopping on foot in Kasol.
– Leave by 8:30 am for Kheerganga
– Start the hike to Kheerganga by 9:00 HRS.
– First pit stop at the waterfall. (5.6km = 2.5 hours)
– Second pit stop at Sunflower cafe. (3.5km = 1.5 hours)
– Reach Kheerganga top by 14:00 HRS.
– Check into our campsite for the night.
– Take a dip in the natural sulphur hot spring.
– Spend the night camping in Kheerganga. (No Network)
– Start in the morning by 9:00 HRS & hike back from Kheerganga to the road.
– Hop on to the Vehicle and leave for Manali
– Reach Yolo Cafe Manali by 16:00 HRS.
– Check into your country themed cottage for the night.
– Spend the rest of the evening resting after a hectic start to your trip.
– Post Breakfast hop onto the car from Yolo Manali to Sissu (40 km = 1hr.30 mins)
– Explore Sissu
– On the return explore Solang Valley.
– Return to Yolo Manali around sunset time.
– Rest of the evening at leisure.
– Post Breakfast leave for local sightseeing around New & Old Manali
– Explore New & old Manali on foot.
– Return to Yolo Manali by 15:00 Hrs.
– Board a Volvo semi sleeper bus from Manali Private Bus stand at 17:45 HRS to New Delhi.
– Reach Majnu ka Tila, New Delh by 09:00 HRS.
