In seven days, we will experience a wildlife safari in Kaziranga National Park to spot the mighty one-horned rhino & then the journey moves to the cold weather of Arunachal Pradesh and the Monasteries in the region. The conditions geographic & temperature conditions of the two states will differ from extreme cold temperatures in Tawang to mild weather in Kaziranga.

– Arrive in Guwahati by latest 12:00 HRS
– Reach Guwahati at Paltan Bazaar by 13:00 HRS.
– Hop into a 10-seater non-AC SUV to Kaziranga National Park. (193km = 4 hours)
– Reach by 19:00 HRS and check into our homestay.
– Spend the evening at leisure.
– Leave in the morning by 7:00 HRS for a jeep safari.
– Return back to the homestay by 9:30 HRS.
– After breakfast, drive to Bomdila. 213 km = 5-6 hours
– Reach Bomdila by 4 pm.
– Check into our homestay for the night.
– Rest of the evening at Leisure.
– By 10: 00 am, leave for Dirang ( 42km= 1-2 hrs)
– En route, visit Bomdila Monastery
– Reach Dirang by 12:0o noon
– Have lunch and explore Dirang and then, by 2:00 PM, leave for Sangti Valley
– Return in the Evening by 6:00 PM
– Rest of the evening at leisure.
– Leave in the morning by 6:00 HRS for Tawang town.
– Cross Sela Pass & reach Tawang Hotel in the main market by lunch time.
– Check-in to the guest house.
– Post lunch, leave for Tawang Monastery & War Memorial.
– Rest of the evening at leisure.
– Post breakfast, leave for the high-altitude lakes around Tawang.
– First visit the Indo-China border at Bumla.
– Then drive to the famous Sangetsar Lake, also known as Madhuri Lake by the locals.
– On the return back, visit the majestic P.Tso lake.
– Return back to Tawang by 14:00 HRS.
– Spend the rest of the evening shopping in the flea market.
