What to Expect

This is a trip which will leave you with a bag full of memories & experiences. As the name suggests this is indeed the backpacking silk route around Himachal with Mcloedganj a Buddhist town which is still very much the home of the current Dalai Lama & his small community in exile from Tibet.

McLeodganj is the kind of town which will remain in your heart for a life time. With a walk around the bustling streets to the Dalai Lama temple & St jhon’s church in the wilderness or even the 2km walk to Bhagsunag water fall. There is so much to do that even a couple of weeks won’t be enough.

After 40 odd hours in Dharamshala the journey moves to Manali. With a over night bus to Yolo Manali. Similar to McLeodganj Manali has lot to offer with old & new Manali having a vibe of its own & the hot springs of Vashist.

This trip is ideal for solo travellers, couples & even small groups.  Remember we take a maximum of only 15 people per trip.
