The hippie Gokarna Backpacking Vibe is evident from the minute you step foot in the buffer area of the town. You’ll spot plenty of foreigners who seem to be living in Gokarna for over a decade by the look of things. Remember everything in Gokarna is actually walking distance from each other so all you have to do is put on your shades and walk.

Gokarna Backpacking is a fun and easy entry for everyone and anyone who likes beaches & wants to get a glimpse into the life of a backpacker.

Blueprint | Gokarna Backpacking

Day 1Kudle beach/Om Beach

– Reach the town of Gokarna by 11 AM and check into a guest house.
– Freshen up and leave for the beach on foot.
– First visit Kulde Beach and then Om Beach Om beach.
– Follow the trail back to Kudle Beach. Spend the evening at the beach.
– Return to the guest house post-sundown.

Day 2Half Moon / Paradise Beach

– After breakfast, Pack up and start the walk/hike to Explore the remote beaches of Gokarna

– First hike to Om Beach via Kuldee and then Half moon & Paradise Beach
– At 4 PM leave for Kudle beach.

– Return to the guest house post-sunset or spend some time shopping in the Flea market.

Day 3Gokarna Town

– Last day in Gokarna.

– Visit the temples of Mahabaleshvara, Maha Ganapati, and Lord Shiv.
– Explore Gokarna beach and the town on foot
– Check out by 11:00 AM

Q. Will we get a bed, blankets and pillows?
Yes, at every place we stay at you’ll get a blanket, a pillow and if not a bed then surely a mattress to sleep on.

Q. Why is Lunch and dinner not included on Gokarna Backpacking Trip ?
Since this is a backpacking trip, we want to leave the eating for you’ll to explore on your own. You’ll never go hungry in Gokarna.

Q. Do we need to carry food along?
Not needed. Every place we stay at will have either a cafe or a family who will cook for us.

Q. What kind of food should we expect to get?
You’ll get a variety of food options from Sea food , Indian cuisine, pastas to pizzas and Israeli food to choose from.

Q. How to prevent dehydration while hiking to the other beaches?
Carry Electral or Glucose – D to prevent dehydration. Coconut water is also widely available in Gokarna.

Q. What about motion sickness?
Contact, your local physician is the best for motion sickness.

What if there is a natural calamity or delay due to an external factor?
-Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances(strikes), or any delay arising due to an external factor etc. (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).

What is cancellation policy?

TLOW, based on the Cancellation Date, shall withhold the following amounts stated in the table below, from the Booking Amount or Trip Price as cancellation charges and refund the remainder to you. The refund shall be paid to you, within (21) calendar days from the Cancellation Date.

– Before forty (40) calendar days prior to the date of commencement of Trip, 15% of the Trip Price

– On or after forty (40) calendar days but prior to thirty (30) calendar days day of commencement of Trip,
30% of the Trip Price

– On or after thirty (30) calendar days but prior twenty five (25) calendar days from day of commencement of Trip 50% of the Trip Price

– On or after twenty five (25) calendar days but prior to twenty (20) calendar days from day of commencement of Trip 75% of the Trip Price.

– On or after twenty (20) calendar days but prior fifteen (15) calendar days from day of commencement of Trip 100% of the Trip Price
