This trip starts from Mumbai’s iconic Gateway of India and explores the beach town of Kihim and ends at Mumbai jetty. The Kihim Beach Family Backpacking Trip, where you will meet and travel with like-minded families, and get your toddler to explore the sea and sand.
Gateway of India ferry point (Oct-May)
– Reach Ferry Point by 11:00 AM.
– Take the Non-AC Ferry from Mumbai to Mandwa jetty point at 12:00 HRS.
– Hop onto a Tum-tum to the town of Kihim {11 km = 35 mins}
– Reach Kihim by 13:30 and check into a Homestay
– Post Lunch (not included), relax in the homestay, or wander through the town.
– Head to the beach and explore the adventure sports (additional costs)
– Have Maggi & tea at a beach shack
– Post Sundown return to the homestay
– Spend the rest of the evening at leisure.
– Post breakfast, leave for the beach and soak in the sun and waves.
– By 1:00 PM, have Misal for lunch at a beach shack
– Hop onto the tum-tum by 3:00 PM to Mandwa jetty point.
– Board the Non-AC ferry at 4:30 PM from Mandwa jetty
– Reach Mumbai jetty point at 5:45 PM
– Trip ends at Mandwa jetty
