The famous Sabarmati ashram is situated on the banks of the Sabarmati river. Currently the ashram is a museum and has many things of Mahatma Gandhi including his house, his belongings which are now kept in museum. The timings to visit is between 8.30 am to 6.30 pm.
Jama masjid
Jama Masjid is one of the most visited places in Ahmedabad, situated at Teen darwaja near Manek Chowk. It was built by Sultan Ahmed Shah I in 1424 AD. It is famous for its unique architecture and carvings on the walls of the mosque.
Adalaj Stepwell
Adalaj stepwell should be in your top of list if you are visiting Ahmedabad. The Adalaj stepwell is five storeys deep, and is built using sandstone. Constructed in the memory of Rana veer singh, by his wife Rudabai. The architecture of this monument is the finest example of architecture in India.
