The island that has some of Thailand’s most beautiful beaches is a top destination for tourists. Here is what you can do while in Phuket

1. Trip to Kata Noi Beach

There’s a small bay just a short drive away from Kata beach called the “Kata Noi” beach. Although a small beach but the scenery will blow your mind, it’s breathtaking. One can always go there to take some time out and relax, walk along the soft sand or take a dip. One can also go to the Kata viewpoint to look across at the bays of Karon, Kata and Kata Noi. Best time to visit the beach is between November and April as swimming would be dangerous in the monsoon season.

2. See the Phuket Big Buddha

Phuket Big Buddha is one of the famous landmarks in Phuket. The Buddha is at the top of Nakkred hill and is forty-five meters tall. When on top, one will be able to get a splendid view of the island. You will also notice that its very quiet and peaceful there apart from the dharma music and the little bells, you don’t want to miss this experience. The Buddha is made out of Burmese marble and sparkles in the sun.

3. The Karon Viewpoint

The Karon Viewpoint is a very famous tourist attraction in Phuket and is mostly crowded on a daily basis. The viewpoint gives a view of the Andaman sea on direction and points towards the three west coast beaches of the island on the other.

4. Wat Chalong

Wat Chalong has been open to visitors for over a century now. You will get to see some amazing things as you arrive there, starting with Poh Jao Wat which has the statues of two elderly men. The highlight of your visit will be the Grand Pagoda which is beautifully decorated with the images of Buddha and contains small splinter from the bone of Lord Buddha.

5. Spend time by Phang Nga Bay

Phang Nga Bay is a must-visit whilst you are visiting Phuket, the bay is a home to nearly forty islands that come right out of the sea. The place is full of mangroves, lagoons and caves. Although exploring all in one day is a big challenge but you should have a look at all of these. It’s advisable to visit the bay with a tour guide in order to miss no place.

6. Check Promthep Cape

Another popular place to visit in Phuket is Promthep Cape which is a rocky headland and runs right into the sea and is located at the southwestern coast. At the top of the hill, there is a huge open space with a shrine and one can get a great view from up there. You will find tourists from all over the world awaiting for a mesmerizing sunset. 7. Phi Phi Islands

If you want to visit the best islands of all then you must go to Phi Phi Islands which has turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. Do not miss Phi Phi Leh, an isolated island and Phi Phi Don where no one can ever be in a hurry.

10. Phuket FantaSea Show

If you are in Thailand or planning a trip to Thailand? Then you just can’t miss the Phuket FantaSea Show also know as “Fantasy Of A Kingdom” which is a Thai Cultural Theme Park Show. The show is a combination of State-Of-Art show elements and modern technology. Thai ethos namely courage, freedom, fun and love are represented in various acts of magic, acrobatics, illusions, special 4D shows, stunts, animal performances. The show is performed in a theatre with 3000 seats.
