Travelling to Himachal was on my mind for quite some time, but Kinnaur and Spiti were something I had never thought of. I read about Spiti before the trip and Kinnaur was a pleasant surprise.
Snow capped mountains, Baspa river flowing through the villages of Chitkul and Rackcham, the temples, monasteries and lanes of the villages and much much more, was completely breathtaking.
Heading to Spiti, the cold desert was an experience in itself. Spiti is indeed a world within a world. The peace experienced at the monastery, at the local places out there is unexplainable.
The road trip and backpacking and trekking is something I had never imagined myself. Tlow introduced me this new interesting way of travelling and exploring them.
It has been fun being with Sherwin during these days. An unforgettable experience that I had during this trip. It will always remain with me and be the best part of me!
