This was my first backpacking experience and the trip started well before October 31 with the thrill that accompanied booking confirmation from TLOW. I been hearing a lot of rumours about safety issues in the lands of seven sisters but did not find any such rumours crystalline.

Best moments of the trip was the bamboo homestay in Manali, the living root bridge in the village of Meghalaya and the home food with the locals. People in the north east were welcoming and I wish all the luck to TLOW for success in trips to follow.
