Pointers for Pokhara in Nepal

A city that hits up all the unwind tracks is Pokhara. Arresting scenery, delectable food joints, thrilling things to do and the classic chilling by the lake in the view of the snow-capped mountains; Pokhara has it all. It has a chill vibe, especially feels like home when you arrive in the city after a strenuous trek or hike like the Annapurna Circuit. Rent a bike and explore the old town. The old town is where you will find yourself in close proximity to Nepali culture. Check out the Newari houses, the temples and shops.  Find new trails and experiences to add to the existing ones.

It takes around 2-3 hours to get to the stupa but it is totally worthwhile combination of views and tranquillity.

-> Devi’s Falls

The waterfall is also known as Patale Chaango. The Devi’s fall gets its name from the legend revolving around a swiss traveller who fell in the sinkhole with his girlfriend and drowned.

Check out the museums in Pokhara, including the international mountain museum, dedicated to mountains and mountaineer and the Gurkha museum, celebrating the bravery of the Gurkhas (Nepali soldiers)
