The banana chips of different varieties are a must by from the markets of Alleppey. The spices are also of different varieties that are available in the markets. Be sure to bargain while shopping.

Besides a houseboat ride, the lagoons of Alleppey are a great place to kayak and canoe ride. The experience is a must-have while here.
