Hippie cafes in Hampi

Hampi has two main cultures: the holy and the hippie culture. Hampi is listed in the UNESCO World heritage sites record because of the royal history it had which has been translating throughout the villages of Karnataka. Believed to be the origin of an episode in Ramayana where Lord Rama came to visit Hanuman to seek help in finding Sita. This is one of the many such folk tales interesting enough to attract tourists from all corners of the world to this place. The temples, ruins, the landscape covered with huge boulders will take you back in time.

The temples in Hampi especially Vittala temple which houses the famous Stone chariot is a must visit for everyone visiting Hampi. The Matanga Hill, Monkey Hill and Sanapur lake are one of the many attractions including the Elephant Stable, Queens bath, steeped tanks, lotus mahal, Mahalinga, Hampi bazaar and many such statues are intriguing to the people sole because they are made from one huge rock and the question to which they are left mind boggled as to how were these huge rocks turned into a piece of history overtime.

Where these cultures brought people closer to the feeling of divine, there is another culture that brought people a sense of belonging regardless of where they came from and this is how the Hippie culture influenced and segregated Hampi into The temple side and the Hippie island. And if you are a part of Hippie culture these are the hippie cafes where the culture blooms.
