If summers in India are harsh, winters are either pleasant or extreme depending on the region. However, India has its own winter charm and there are some places which are absolutely breathtaking if visited in winter.

The northern states, especially the region enveloped by the Himalayas attract tourists who seek to see and play in the snow. Rajasthan, famous for its culture and traditions intrigues a hoard of foreigners and Indians alike who visit the region and marvel over its many palaces and temples. 1. God’s own country : Kerala
