We humans have been using tables since around 2500 BC for various purposes. Early Egyptians and Romans started making the dining tables more creative in designs as well as putting a decorative art piece on it. Some tombs were discovered having tables made of stone or wood to keep things for afterlife. As more tables were made by humans, more they got creative.
In the present age, we humans use tables of different styles and designs. Some are full of creative designs and are also expensive.
Team TLOW had a vision of having creative tables in the new upcoming cafe at TYRB. Their design concept on the table was very unique and interesting, at the same time it was a challenge to stand on the expectations. Tables are only furniture which people gaze more while waiting for their order, so they have to be colourful and creative to keep guests lost in them. An interesting concept emerged to have continents painted on each table.
But that would be taking a good amount of research about every continent so that the team create a TLOW customized version of the table.
At first the team made a great effort in getting the required continent fitted in the length of the table. Then, for the content team used the research material and decided how to place certain artwork so that all the sides of the table are covered. A guest’s perceptive was taken into consideration in a way that every guest no matter which side they sit, they will have at least one artwork in front of them. After long hours of work we finally started getting the view of the final design on the table. At most attention was given to detail and the continents had to include artwork of flora, fauna, monuments and any tribe culture or dance form that is found in that particular continent.
The team was free to choose and use their maximum creativity in completing this project. Few challenges were faced by the team, but they boldly conquered over it and aimed only for creativity. Any mistakes made were modified into the best art piece a table can have. In a very short time, the team was successful in making three tables and two more were completed shortly after. The cafe was very near completion and the tables were first priority to be set in it.
For humans, tables have become an essential part of their lives. Dining halls are given more priorities while buying houses and people now care more about the ambience the table can provide. If people are so cautious about the tables at their homes, they will be expecting something really exotic and creative when they arrive at a cafe in a resort. Keeping this into focus, the team did an excellent job that too on such a short notice. Overall the motto of TLOW team is to enjoy the work and so without any pressure the team was able to complete it.
The best part of the project was exposure and knowledge of the world. At last TLOW is always aiming for fuelling curious travelers about knowledge all around the world and in every project it is achieved from a different perspective.
