6 Adventure activities to do in Arunachal Pradesh

Adventure in Arunachal Pradesh is the largest state of the Seven Sisters states of India. Situated in the Eastern region of the country it shares its borders with Bhutan and is connected to Assam and Nagaland on its south. The vastness of open space and the high mountains with its breathtaking landscape attracts a lot of tourists seeking for thrilling adventure while on their trip to this majestic state.

Adventure activities are in abundance but the thrill is different for every activity you partake. Here are some of the adventure activities that you won’t regret trying and surely will have an experience of a lifetime. The best time to visit Arunachal Pradesh is during the Mechuka festival which takes place mostly during the month of November.

Angling

Though it may seem like a leisure activity, during the Mechuka festival there is an Angling championship organised where the anglers show their skills in catching a fish as quickly as possible with all the knowledge they have acquired from years of experience. The fish caught is measured and categorised accordingly and the winner is given the trophy. If you are one of those competitive type, this will surely keep you engaged while competing with the masters of angling. 

Trekking
