7 days backpackers blueprint around Parvati Valley including Malana

From the high altitude Parashar lake to the Hippie Parvati Valley this is our seven-day blueprint around the Himalayan backpacker silk route in Himachal Pradesh.

Trip Date: 27th May – 2nd June ’18 | 18th – 24th Nov ’18

Trip Cost: Rs 10,000 + 5% GST = Rs 10,500/- 

Inclusions:

• All travel from Delhi and back.
• Accommodation. (3 to 6 in a room depending on room size).
• Entry fees if any.

 Exclusions:

• Food.
• Anything not mentioned in the inclusion section.

 This backpacking trip will have a maximum of 15 backpackers.

Only on payment of 50% of the trip cost will a seat be confirmed.

Terms & Conditions

Minimum age requirement 18+

Things to carry:

1. Valid ID proof with address. (No college ID or PAN card)
2. Backpack. (Mandatory)
3. Essentials to pack.

 Day 1:

• Board an HRTC bus from ISBT Kashmiri Gate New Delhi to Mandi at 18:00 HRS. (439km = 12 Hrs)

Day 2:

• Reach Mandi around 06:00 HRS and leave for Parashar Lake. (74km = 2.5 Hrs)
• From Parashar Lake leave for Kasol.
• Reach the town of Kasol by evening 
• Explore the Hippie town of Kasol

Day 3:

• Board a bus to Barshaini which is a 2 hours bumpy bus ride.
• Hike from Barshaini to Tosh (40 minutes hike).
• Spend night in the village in one of the guest houses. (No network coverage)

Day 4:

• Leave Tosh by 10.00 and Hike to the Village of Pulga ( 80 Minute Hike )
• Spend the afternoon in the Fairy Forrest and have a late lunch
• Catch the Bus from Barshaini at 14.00 HRS and leave for Kasol

Day 5: 

• Take a taxi and then trek to the village of taboos, Malana.
• Hike the remaining 3kms to the village. 
• Remember not to touch anyone or anything in the village.
• Camp in the foothills of Malana near the river.

Day 6:

• Last day, leave for Kasol, by 13:00 
• Pack up and leave for Kullu HRTC bus station by 17:00 HRS.
• Board an HRTC bus from Kullu to ISBT New Delhi by 20:00 HRS.

Day 7:

• Reach New Delhi ISBT Kashmiri Gate by 09:00 HRS.
