TLOW diary | Week 6 – Kinnaur & Spiti Valley

Travelling to Himachal was on my mind for quite some time, but Kinnaur and Spiti were something I had never thought of. I had read some bit about Spiti before the trip, Kinnaur was a pleasant surprise! Snowcapped mountains, Baspa river flowing through the villages of Chitkul and Rakcham.

Spiti

The monastery and lanes of the villages and much more which was completely breathtaking!  Driving through the treacherous roads of Himachal, the food, interacting with the locals will always be a part of me. Heading to Spiti, the cold desert was an experience on its own.

Spiti

is indeed a world within a world. The peace experienced at the monasteries in unexplainable.  Backpacking and trekking were things I never imagined myself doing earlier. Tlow has introduced me to this way of travelling and exploring, kudos and thanks to you for the introduction.

It has been fun with Ravina and Sherwin during these days! The uncountable offbeat experiences that I have had, on this trip will always be a part of me.
