Here is a travel guide for backpackers around the ancient city of Junagadh in Gujarat. A backpacking trip along this route can be done at Rs 1000/day without food. For more information Mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org Day 1: Board a Non AC sleeper bus from Andheri/Borivali at 3pm. Day 2: Reach the ancient city of Junagadh by 9am. Check into a budget guest house or lodge. After lunch visit the famous Uparkot fort. Day 3: Next morning wake up by 6 am and board a bus or tuktuk to the village of Sasan. From Sasan take a bus to the village of Jambour and visit the Indo African Siddie tribal village. Also visit the Maldhari Sheppard village near Sasan Gir. Day 4: Wake up early in the morning by 5am to reach the base of the sacred hill of Girnar. Begin the climb of 10,000 steps. 5 to 6 hours hike. In the evening visit the beautiful Durbar hall Museum. Day 5: After breakfast visit the Junagadh Bazaar and local monuments. Post lunch board a Non AC sleeper bus for Mumbai by 4pm. Day 6: Reach Mumbai by 8am.
