Today is the day I truly understood the difference between holidaying and traveling. To travel is to experience, to understand, to learn , to grow, to live somebody else’s daily life and to create valuable memories. Tlow has given traveling a new dimension, they have refined my want to be a well travelled person.

For me this trip was all about stepping out of my comfort zone to experience what life is beyond the bubble I have created for myself. I don’t really know how much of a well travelled person I would be, but this trip was a step I wanted to take for a long time, but didn’t have the courage to do so.

Sitting by the banks of the most pristine colourless lake of Dawki, I realised the value of solitude – something that I don’t experience in my monotonous life.

The scenic road trips, the gypsy ride around the national park of Kaziranga, the stay at the bamboo huts on the largest river island in the world, everything reminded me of how amazing life would be if I had to just stop and look at what’s around me.

North East is an unexplored terrain that TLOW has managed to make every traveller fall in love with. Even the locals around us admitted that the north East is not a typical travellers paradise, but what this beautiful place offer is culture, simple yet great food, welcoming smiles, children with rosy cheeks and countless and priceless memories. This has been an experience that will be etched in my heart for eternity and I’m already looking forward to a new journey and experience.

Thanks tlow for an amazing North East trip and thanks for making me a traveller.

    Hey there travelers,

Cos that’s what you become once you travel with TLOW. You are no more a tourist in a new place but one among the locals. This trip has been a change in perspective to what actual travel is. It has made me want to explore more and travel more.

Tlow has been the only company to give a ‘Backpacker’ an experience of where they can be themselves, explore at their place and live the moment without worrying about all other responsibilities and duties that comes with authentic backpacking.

Tlow has changed my outlook towards traveling. Because the more you travel the more you live. Can we live not to travel but travel so that our lives don’t out live us.

Sherwin has been such an inspiration. He has transformed us. We don’t wish to be the stereotypical tourist anymore. He has been practical, calm, composed yet fun at the same time.

I would love to travel the world one day but for now I’m a fan of TLOW because that’s the way to live life. And for now India is a huge wide country which I’m going to explore only with TLOW.

This is my first trip with TLOW and also my first solo trip. It has been a great traveling experience. From the food to the home stays, too all the places we visit it has been great.

But the best part for me was to meet so many new people. This trip has given me a lot of memories to take back after a long time.

Looking forward to many more trips with TLOW.

The North East has been on my bucket list for quite a while now. I came across tlow’s page while randomly surfing Facebook and for some reason, it just felt right, like I was meant to go. And here I am in Shillong today, freezing happily in the 11°C temperature.

Everyone wants a trip that is affordable, but memorable. And this is where tlow stands out among the whole lot of other trip organizers. Kaziranga, Majuli (bamboo Hut stay) , Mawlynnong, Dawki, Cherrapunji… all this was covered Backpacking.

Coming back to the room all tired but with a whole lot of unforgettable memories is just what I was expecting. To be honest, I discovered myself a little more on this trip. The serenity I felt while sitting under the living root bridge is rare and only the lucky ones experience it. This is what I felt at every location.

The cool breeze blatantly teased me, the dark night acted as the perfect temptress, the chitter chatter of the people around me could not disturb the calm within me. Mother nature engulfed me with her unconditional warmth and as I smiled to myself, I also promised myself to engage more sincerely and honestly with her.

A great job tlow and I’m definitely coming back for more

Backpacking trip with my Mom, yes the thought was a little scary at first but today I feel it was the first thing to do and all credit goes to TLOW and some to my Mom too.

These guys are the best if you want to travel solo but are too scared to do it actually. I met a lot of fun and sweet co-travelers on this trip and ended up have the trip of my life.

Thank you tlow for the amazing home stays, and the delicious food and of course for giving me all new friends.

A trip worth remembering in the nature of its own, traveling, food, ferry, stranded by the river, morning walks, cold air all do take the mind off the city.

With TLOW , travel becomes easy, meeting new people, humourous conversation, late nights, all add a different charm to the trip. Traveling with Sherwin is always fun this is the 3rd trip and will be back again for more.
